Home again

We took a bite out of the Big Apple and came back to tell the tale. Our vacation was a smashing success. Alexa did wonderfully on the drive to and fro. 17 hours in the car isn't easy for anyone, especially a 9 year old. But all was well. We arrived safe and sound in Connecticut. Bopchi was very happy to see us and we were very happy to be out of the car! ;-) Seriously though. We arrived Saturday the 22nd, got our crap out of the car and did dinner at Mohegan Sun Casino with my mother. Then while Alexa and the rest went into the arcade to waste money on games Erin and I went to waste money on gambling. That was a new experience for Erin (the gambling part not the wasting money part..haha!) We quickly wasted away about $50 each and decided that we had had enough of the smoke filled halls and corridors so we headed out.
Christmas was a blast. We got to spend time with the family, and hey, cool new stuff always rocks. The best part was seeing Bopchi and Popop dote all over Alexa. As you can see Popop was practically beside himself. (yes I cried when I took this photo...shut up) I won't bother showing everyone all the cool stuff we got. You'll just have to come over and let me cook for you. :-)
With that said it was time for our trip to New York City. Here are some photos from our crazy day. We had a ton of fun, got to see not very much and plan on doing it again in '09. Life is good for now. Baby's are doing well. Mommy is doing well. Daddy is chugging along as always. We love you guys!

Happy New Years Everyone

We're back from the big apple! And it's a whole brand new year! Rest assured we are all well. Our trip was amazing. It was so nice to see all of my family, especially Bopchi and Dad and my brother and sister and Popop. Unfortunately I don't have any shots from our trip as of yet. I've lost the cable to my camera and can't get the photos out of it yet. But they will be forthcoming. Stay tuned. There is lots to talk about. For now, Happy New Year, we love you all!
