Family

Mom left yesterday morning. She come to visit for a week. It was so awesome to have her here with us. She finally got to see the house, and Leonard of course. We didn't get a whole lot of photos, but we did get a few. Hopefully we'll be able to go up there sometime soon. But the visit was good. Mom got to hang out with Leonard and Erin and Alexa while I was at work slaving away bringing home the bacon. Not sure that's entirely fair, but whatever. ;-) We had fun with what time we had. And of course mom bought me the most awesome grill in the world! I can't wait to cook on it this weekend. We have some leftover steaks that are going to taste so good! And maybe some grilled esparagus. mmmmm. yummy. And she got us a new ladder and paint for the trim and brushes (even though I had brushes)...the woman is insane, but she helped us out so much during her visit. My mom rocks. So, here are some shots from the last week and a half or so.

Summer Time Fun

I would have updated the blog with some new photos and a few touching stories this week, but we had a bit of an unfortunate accident on thursday. Our A/C broke and we're still waiting to have it fixed. As this is July in Florida, we can't stay at our house because Leonard can't regulate his body temp yet. So we're staying with Erin's parents who have been so amazingly gracious enough to put up with the three of us ( and now 4 with Alexa) for the last 5 days. Now the word is that it will be fixed tomorrow. Though that's what they said yesterday and the day before. So, pray for us. WE NEED A/C!!!

So Erin got this photo the other morning. It's one of 3 photos that have been taken of Leonard and I together in the same shot....I wonder who takes all the photos in this family? ;-) Anyway, it's just so awesome I wanted to share. Here it is.
